Welcome to hopehaus

By using hopehaus.org and purchasing our products, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language because we'd rather you actually read them.

About us

hopehaus is a Minnesota-based business specializing in premium medical-grade wigs, cranial prosthesis, hair toppers, extensions, and related products. We operate at 2708 E Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55406. Founded by Lilian and Jazelle.

Purchases and payment

All payments are processed through Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize hopehaus to charge your payment method for the total amount including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and (where enabled) PayPal. We do not currently process insurance, HSA, or FSA cards directly. For medical-grade purchases, we provide receipts with the appropriate medical coding (HCPCS A9282 or S8095) so you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance, HSA, or FSA administrator. Reimbursement is not guaranteed — it depends on your specific plan, your prescription, and your administrator's policies.

Pricing

All prices are in U.S. dollars. We may update pricing at any time. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay; price changes after your purchase do not affect orders that have already been placed.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. International shipping availability is determined per order. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

Returns and refunds

Custom-fitted medical-grade wigs and cranial prosthesis are non-returnable for hygiene reasons once they have been worn or altered. Unopened, unused inventory items (bundles, wefts, accessories, hair care products) may be returned in original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund less original shipping costs.

For defects in workmanship or shipping damage, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you on a replacement or refund. Email hello@hopehaus.org with your order number and photos of the issue.

The Atelier program

The hopehaus Atelier is a vetted partner program for independent salons. Atelier membership does not constitute employment by hopehaus. Member salons remain independent businesses, fully responsible for their own operations, licensing, insurance, taxes, and client relationships. hopehaus does not guarantee revenue, client volume, or specific outcomes from membership. Membership may be terminated by either party at any time and may be revoked for cause.

Consultations

Free 10-minute phone or virtual consultations are available before booking a fitting. Consultations do not create a medical or stylist-client relationship. They are informational. We do not provide medical advice. For questions about whether a wig is right for your specific medical situation, please consult your physician.

Intellectual property

Everything on hopehaus.org — text, photos, design, the hopehaus name and logo, the Atelier name — is owned by hopehaus or licensed to us. You may not copy, redistribute, or use any of it without our written permission. Quotes for editorial coverage and personal use (e.g., sharing photos of your purchase on your own social media) are welcome.

Disclaimer of warranties

hopehaus products are sold as described. We make no warranty that any product will achieve a specific aesthetic outcome for any individual. Hair pieces are subject to natural wear. We are not responsible for damage caused by improper care, exposure to harsh chemicals, heat damage, or third-party styling.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, hopehaus's liability for any claim arising from your use of our products or this website is limited to the amount you paid for the specific product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of hopehaus.org after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith communication directly with hopehaus. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in Hennepin County, Minnesota.
